My cat, Charlie, has seizures and this was my first experience with boarding him. I would highly recommend the Monte Vista Pet Lodge to anyone. I received regular report cards on how Charlie was doing including pictures. Which help me feel comfortable being away. Great staff and place.
The Monte Vista team took amazing care of our dog, Luca. The accommodations are great, the staff is so nice and loving to the pets, and they kept me informed on how Luca was doing throughout his stay! I am so grateful for the great care they gave our dog.
They treated my baby girl like the princess she is 😊. First time daycare was exceptional and every visit after was equally the same. Friendly staff, easy client portal and pup loves it. Definitely a keeper for a home away from home for our girl!!
The folks here take care of my bouncy sociable dog's daycare, my nervous fluffy dog's grooming, AND I can trust them with my (beautiful, perfect, ancient, arthritic, AND diabetic) cat when I have to go out of town. I've only experienced Grooming services here. The facility appears clean from the lobby area. My dog is pretty skittish and she hates having her nails trimmed, but the groomer has had success getting them done and not making it more traumatizing. My dog always smells and feels amazing after her bath.
They are super friendly! I love how they send you pictures and a quick report letting you know how your dogs are doing. These are the type of photos you receive. The grooming services are great as well. Both of my dogs were groomed over their stay. They are beat from all the playing.
We love this place. We have used them for years. Doggy daycare once a week and board when needed. They treat her like a princess.
Monte Vista Pet Lodge is our family's go to place for doggie daycare and boarding services for our two canine family members, Oswald and Winky. The staff is friendly and attentive, and when we boarded them for 18 days during our vacation this past summer, they were very well taken care of, and were given the food that we provided for each of them per my instructions. Our pups attend daycare at MVPL at least once every week, and they are always very excited to go. When we pick them up at the end of the day, we receive two happy, tired pooches, and we often get verbal reports on how their day went from the staff. Monte Vista Pet Lodge has been great for our family, and it's nice to support a truly local business in Rio Rancho.
Took my handsome Kane today for the first time for a daycare stay. He absolutely loved it there. Had a smile on his face the rest of the day. And I love how they do a “report card” and update it with pictures through out the day. I’m definitely bringing Kane back!!
I've been boarding my dogs and cats here for about 7 years and have never regretted it! The staff are well trained and have treated both my senior dog (11 yr old Great Dane) and younger dogs with the upmost care and compassion. Their staff is very open and communicative, which helps ease my anxiety of leaving my pets alone. Also, their grooming services have always gone above and beyond as well! This facility just also happens to be located directly next door to a vet clinic, Zia Pet hospital, so any last minute vaccines or medication refills have been a breeze complete. I live in Albuquerque, but will continue to patron Monte Vista for the foreseeable future!
